Join us for a special celebration of Negro League baseball and the athletes who paved the way! As part of Negro League Appreciation Weekend, the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and Food City invite you to a Community Meet and Greet with former Negro League players on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Food City #711 (1375 Broad Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402).

Come out and celebrate their legacy, get autographs, and take photos with these icons of the game!
Then, join us at AT&T Field on June 13–14 as the Chattanooga Lookouts and Biloxi Shuckers face off wearing replica Negro League uniforms in honor of this historic weekend.
